Training at Salvatori:

As from 2nd March 2009 Salvatori’s own JAUPT approved training school will be open, we can now accept bookings for PCV drivers and register LGV drivers.
Courses can be tailored to suit your own commitments and requirements

Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training
Centre Approval No. AC00314.

Our purpose built air conditioned training facility delivers only JAUPT approved courses that have been specifically tailored to ensure a knowledge of EU & domestic drivers hours, working time and tachograph regulations. Vehicle walk round checks are covered.
This will ensure drivers are kept up to date with the ever changing regulations.
Periodic training is designed to conform and expand on the existing knowledge and skills of each driver to ensure that they continue to be safe, courteous and fuel efficient drivers.

Trainers:

Our qualified trainers have been involved in a wide range of transport activities for many years and have a knowledge base that can be drawn upon and used in a training environment.

Modules:

Training is delivered in 7 hour modules allowing cost to be spread and causing less disruption for drivers and operators.
At present we are offering two JAUPT approved courses:

PCV Driver Essentials
LGV Driver Essentials

A friendly and relaxed manner is created by using interactive discussion, question and answer sessions, backed up with presentation equipment, tachograph simulators and DVD’s this encourages involvement and leads to a better understanding of the training being delivered.
